Just got in the mail today her latest single called "No Way No How" off her new cd called "All My Life" which drops in february. She is slammin!!! Her vocals are great. She has never sounded better. I hate to disappoint you freestyle fans but it is NOT freestyle at all. It's very dance oriented. This single will definitely help relaunch her career. I will show it much love on the radio.

Can't waite, do you know when is the exact day of the release? and also do you know if it's going to be available in all record stores? thank you

That's not a suprise. Like another freestyle artist did a good number of years ago, she dissed freestyle with unkind words about it. My buddy from TX had this artist tell him to his face f*uck freestyle when asked about it. I have ZERO respect for her. I won't put a penny towards her career ever again.

I dunno the exact date in February but yes it should be out in stores everywhere, its coming out on Next Plateau Records. There's even a remix on there by my boy KTU's very own Riddler.

Wait, wait, wait but did you guys ask her why she came off the way she did?

It was my friend who encountered her. He simply asked her if she was going to do any freestyle again. That was her response. It's not what I wanted to hear from my friend cause I do like her music, but it happened. Anyway, I don't want to make it a drama thing. However, something like that should be known to the fans. It's only right.

Who is the other artist? There is no sense supporting artists who feel this way about the music that got them recognized.

"All My Life" album

I just got my copy today in the mail and I agree with DJ Rene, this will definitely take Jocelyn to new levels in her career. Rene, her new single "No Way No How" is definitely radio friendly and it will be pushed hard to radio by GEM/Next Plateau for sure.

As for those who might be upset that there isn't freestyle on the album, that is your right...but I look at it this way. All artists start off somewhere, and then may go into another phase & mindset in their life and career. I know for a fact Jocelyn has much love for freestyle for getting her where she is, but she is now going into a new realm with dance music - and I feel we should support her in this phase of her career.

Regardless, I am excited that Jocelyn has new music out in 2003! You go girl!

Right on rhythmdrive!!! Thanks for that extra info. I'm glad you agree w/ me on how good that song sounds. Hopefully others across the country & the freestyle community will agree. She's a very nice lady & deserves it.

I also agree with you guys, i mean don't get me wrong I LOVE FREESTYLE in my opinion the best music ever, but to be honest their has been very few freestyle artists that have made it, we all know freestyle doesn't get the play it desrves on the air waves, thats why alot of oldschool artists felt the need to move on to another genre of music that will be best for their carreer, but no matter what i will always suport jocylen and im definitly looking forward to her new album.

KTU played that song in the mix "no way no how" and I loved it.

Nyasia, your girl Dee Robert (Separate Ways) produced that song for Jocelyn. 😉
