That is true. I found out about this site after Monaco mentioned it on his show (although he was knocking CF, not praising it)

That's because there are no other freestyle promoters in Canada. This may have been true at one point, but things have changed. Anyone who listens to his show can tell you that he hardly even plays much freestyle anymore, and I'm talking about the (so-called) "Freestyle" Frenzy, not the regular Z103 programming.
 
Just so people don't think I am biased, let me also add that I was once a big supporter of Monaco and the Freestyle Frenzy. I think he did a lot for freestyle in Canada.

I've just noticed a slow deterioration in the Freestyle Frenzy into the Euro Frenzy. (not that I dislike Euro, but it's supposed to be a FREESTYLE show!)
 
I used to listen to the Frenzy faithfully and I would record it if I knew I was gonna miss it...that was YEARS ago though lol...yeah these SUPPOSED freestyle "remixes" are just a way to save face in my opinion and Freestyle Heaven Volumed 5 is proof of the evelotion of the Freestyle Frenzy...but anyways I do admit that if it were not for Tony Monaco there would be even less freestyle played on the radio, less events and yeah less Canadian freestyle material so he still does have an impact on the scene
 
hmm i really don't wanna have this tony monaco debate again...

everyone has their own opinion, and since we're not kids here no one can say their opinion is correct... let's just leave this

He is a Freestyle fan and supporter. He is a VIP ClubFreestyle member and he is
doing his best to keep it real. He Respects ClubFreestyle members as he knows
we are the largest freestyle supporters on earth. He also shows us Mad Love
when he can by shouting out all of us CF Members on his show.

I think the main reason why people are dissapointed in Tony right now is because of the music he plays on the Frenzy and the latest Freestyle Heaven compilation. I'm not sure if you, Jack, heard it yet... either way, Frenzy has turned EURO... there are merely any freestyle songs, sometimes there are more euro than freestyle, of course I'm speaking of remixed euro songs with freestyle beat to it, but c'mon u can do that on your computer at home... problem with all of this is that the new generation would never understand what freestyle really is... because by playing the euro people think that all freestyle is - is the remix of the euro song with a funky beat to it... it's kinda said that people don't know such personalities as georgle lamond since i personally never heard him on the frenzy and i tune in quite often... people in canada only know of Stevie B, Joee and Elissa.. that's IT! Diamond Girl, Fantasy Girl and even Dreamgirl are all sung by Stevie B!! I am personally SICK of freestyle remixed Euro or Trance.. I want pure freestyle! ... and on the only 1 hr of freestyle in canada that we get, I can't even get that much. :rolleyes

which is why i can't wait for "The Return Of Planet Freestyle".. the compilation which will have all the original freestyle, not remixed or remade.. PURE 100% FREESTYLE! can't wait!
