I would rather never have loved, cause then I wouldn't know what love is, and that actually applies inregards to anything really, once you're in you're most likely in deep as hell, and can't turn back (unless it's something you don't like). My heart is too deep into freestyle to let it go. Freestyle is getting lost here in Chicago, I want to find a way to bring it back hard as all hell. I can't stand to lose one of my loves. Now don't get me wrong I didn't dedicate my life to freestyle, but I love it. I don't know every little as$ crack detail about freestyle, and I don't know all the singers, but it is still a passion of mine. Ever since I was in 4th grade I've been listening to freestyle, and loved it ever since, I watched it go through death, then it came back in the form of Freestyle with house beats...DAMN did that suck or what. I just want to bring it back and let people know freestyle isn't something to be forgotten...I mean how can one forget what is in one's heart? If any one has any comments, ideas, or opinions about what regarding what I have said...Feel free.

I agree with everything you've said. I just don't understand how people could completely turn away from music that's so nice. It was energetic, cool-sounding, fun and had mostly good things to say...

Congrats Raven!! Props for speaking from the heart! That's what matters! I mean here in the NY/NJ area, a lot of members got pissed about the ao-called : "dance" station KTU becoming too pop and cutting freestyle, and a bunch e-mailed, called, and wrote to them. The end result they are playing more in regular rotation which is giving it a boost. Do whatever you can, and it will pay off! Keep the freestyle scene alive! Also welcome to the boards and happy posting! There some great ppl up in here! 🙂
