Is it wrong for not wanting to be in a relationship because the fear of getting hurt? Is it wrong to not want to even bother even if you have feelings for someone?...This is the first time Im being serious, so please..give me an honest answer....
 
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR EMOTIONS...OF COURSE LIKE MOST THINGS IN LIFE A RELATIONSHIP IS A RISK...BUT BOTH PEOPLE HAVE TO BE WILLING TO MAKE IT WORK IN ORDER FOR IT TO LAST ..THINK OF IT AS TRIAL AND ERROR...SO SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO TAKE A CHANCE BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MAY HAPPEN...IF BY CHANCE IT DOESN'T WORK OUT LOOK AT IT AS AN EXPERIENCE.
 
Brace yourself for a cold hard fact, Crystal: Love hurts like a mother#$%@er. Sad, but true, and there's no way around it. Now, IMO, it's not wrong to fear being in a relationship, because, of course, you won't get hurt, but you should not let that fear, or hurt, shape the rest of your life.

I guess my emotions take over a lot..I live my life always as "What if this..and what if that"..Everything seems to be planned because of fear of everything. Mostly of course being hurt. Ive been hurt many times before, and Im only 14..LOL!

But can you agree that I dont need any of this shit..NOW????
 
Plain and simple: love f*ckin hurts. But it is a beautiful thing to be in love. You have to be willing to take the risk, cause if not, the other person will never know how you feel and will either end up meeting and being with someone else, or you'll just wonder "what if?"

Therisk is usually worth it, but if things don't work out, it's just another life lesson and also everything you go through makes you a stronger, better person.

WELL YES 14 IS QUITE YOUNG...LIVE A LITTLE AND DON'T GET INVOLVED RIGHT AWAY...YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME FOR THAT...BOYS YOUR AGE ARE TOO IMMATURE ANYWAY AND YOU ARE NOT MISSING OUT ON ANYTHING ANYWAY....ENJOY YOUR TEEN YEARS YOU HAVE TIME TO BE TIED DOWN AND DEVOTED LATER.

Lil Ma! As others have said...live your life, enjoy your teen years. However, if you seriously like this person (LET ME FIND OUT :stoned) don't be afraid to open up. Life is about living and learning. I have been hurt many of times and yet...if the day comes that I find someone I truly love I'll be shouting it from the rooftops. Its one of the best feelings in the world. When things don't work out it hurts! Don't get me wrong, but as I said...

As Naya already said, 14 is kind of young to be "tied down" to someone. I dated someone from the time I was 13 till almost 17. The 3 and 1/2 yrs together was not always easy, plus for another 2 yrs or so, we were on and off and then ended up being engaged at 18.(Thankfully we came to our senses and broke things off. Granted we're still good friends now, but it took some time to get to that point, and getting over him was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. But looking back it made me a stronger person and I can't say I regret anything.

Ok..well you see guys..Im not thinking about dating anyone right now..To tell you the truth, I have no feelings what so ever to any guy. I REALLY dont like the guys my age for some reason, maybe its like how Nina said..Boys my age are just too immature and I hate that.

Reason why I made this thread, was because I have a fear PERIOD. When I did like this guy a lot, I ended up telling him I dont want to be with him..because of the "what ifs"...but you see...I wanna be like krystal and not be TIED down till Im older..😉..LOL!

Im the kind of person who likes to have fun. I hate jealous guys, and I hate them all over me. Thank you Nina, naya, krystal, Meggie, Robert, Ro Ro, and chulo..This is why I come to you guys, your da best listeners and helpers..:hearton
 
OH SIT!!! You wanna be like me? DAMN Girl! It's not always easy being on my own. It looks like its all fun and games and for the most part it is but when I look at my friends and see them with that special someone (cause it's not all bad!) i get to feeling that I'm missing out on something. 🙁

ur young ma so dont stress. i know ur fear though i always had that fear when i liked a girl but i didnt stick with the what if's..i let them know and well they have all been rejections but thats just the story of my life. dont be afraid 2 let sumone know how u feel cuz since ur not me ur bound 2 have sumone feel the same.
