I forgot I said I was going to go back and edit it! LOL. Well I read what you wrote and I think you got your head on straight about this. As long as it does in the office, then I think it will be fine. But sometimes with friendships and getting to know the person more and more, it gets difficult to leave it at that. I mean not always, but I always think of what if's no matter how the small chance. LOL. I think because you know you're not looking for anything, then yeah I think its possible for you guys to be work friends. Besides, its always nice to have friends at the office. Just beware of working late with only you two, who knows what will happen in an empty office after hours! (LMFAO....I'm so just kidding there...I just had to add that, I couldn't resist!)
That was sweet about the roses on V-day. That's cool. Like you said, and myself a million times here, as long as it does stay in the office, then its cool.

We work in the same place but we also work for the Government.....that means...

A. MANY MANY other departments....we don't work in the same department nor do we work on the same floor....we just see each other on elevators or on our way to breaks.

B. NO OVERTIME!!! Especially with only two peeps in the office.....LMFAO!

C. Everyone is OLD and too find someone around your age is like a GOD SEND!!!

When he brought those roses to my desk I almost cried.....I just gave him a big Hug and told him he had made my day ....and YOU KNOW WHAT HE DID!!!! The rest of that EVIL day (won't say that word) I was beaming from ear to ear 🙂
 
Heaven..Sweety..Its not wrong. Especially since I know the whole story, I have rights to speak my peace. Well you see, its possible that you may be attached to him because of ALL those reasons. You still love Bill, and the fact that he reminds you of Bill, gets you sorta attached, and maybe since he does have a girl, it makes you feel safer cause it will never be. But look at it this way...Is this the guy you would WANT to date? Does he make you smile, laugh, comfartable? He may not be exactly what you want him to be, and that is like Bill, but you know what, not everyone will be, and I know you wont want to be alone on this. Its ok to love..its ok to like..its ok to date and have fun with another guy. You do what your heart tells you to do. And as for the other girl..screw her..If he wanted her that bad...he wouldnt have had that conversation with you about how he never met a girl like you before. Just him saying that shows that he seems caring enough and likes you. And if im wrong, although I seriously doubt it..LOL..And if hes an ass, and treats you like shit afterwards, he aint worth your time or your love. He knows where your heart is right now, and that you are vulnerable, but the way you talk to me about him, it seems like he respects you and your desisions, so you do what you feel is right. HONESTLY I DONT THINK THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT YOU SEEM TO BE DRAWN TO HIM BECAUSE HE REMINDS YOU OF BILL AND I CANT SAY THATS A BAD THING BECAUSE WE WIL ALWAYS COME ACCROSS PEOPLE WHO WILL REMIND US OF SOMEONE WHO ONCE TOUCHED OUR LIVES. THIS GUY HAS A GIRL AND YOU ARE AWARE OF THAT AND KNOW NOT TO CROSS THAT LINE WITH HIM. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH A LITTLE CRUSH IT IS VERY INNOCENT 😀

Heaven I'm glad he made ur V day (I wont say the word either)...I dont know about Bill or what happened but what ever it was, girl smile, life goes on and way better!!!!!! Believe you me, I felt that the world ended, when I got divorced, and today I can say I do not regret it. I rather be happy than sad, although Im single, Im enjoying life now, did not enjoy it back then cause I got together with my ex-hubby at 16-27, but all I can tell u its been a great 3 years of single life..Im living my teen life now...hehehehe

and yikes he works with u..well im glad not on the same floor, I dated one at work, it did not work out and he was so distant with me...why guys become enemies when u end the relationship?????? I hated the rejections,or when someone feels uncomfortable around me..I got a better opportunity and resigned my position.

Hey Heaven! Well all I can say is stay cool with that guy and nothing more. I also understand how you feel(from my perspective of course) Here you are not dating trying to get over someone and there is this person being nice to you and treating you well and giving you attention that you aren't getting in your life and it makes you feel good! Well thats how I felt about a girl I work with. Unfortunately she and I aren't happy with each other now. It gets quite uncomfortable at times. Other times it's okay. I'm just saying becareful! I wouldn't want you to go through what I'm going through now.(there are good guys affected by jerk women) Anyway just stay cool with him! I hope everything turns out okay! Keep it real!! LOL!! Thank You FreestyleGod!!! Yes I know exactly what you mean.....funny since I wrote this thread I have not seen him......maybe the cards weren't there for us. Both our jobs just keep us extremely busy....anyways Thanks for EVERYONE'S input!
 
It's nothing wrong with going out with him. Only if you think this is a person you would like to be with. But there's nothing wrong with going out with him because he looks like your ex. But, that should not be the main reason why. 😉
 
UPDATE!!! I just spoke with this guy and HE'S ENGAGED!!!!! OMG I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT WHEN HE TOLD ME!!!!! They have only been together for 8months .....urg! Wish them luck
