Ok, has anyone else seen the new "Jenny Craig" commercial with Kirstie Alley?

She's calling Jenny Craig, and she says into the phone, "Hi, it's Kirstie and I'm fat." (or something along those lines) and then she looks at the screen, points to it and says, "Hey!!!! You're chubby too!!! Join Jenny Craig with me."

I was like, "Excuse you biatch??? Who the hell are you calling chubby???"

lmao!!!!

Does anyone else think this is not a good idea???? :lol

Actually, I think it's part of the marketing of her new Showtime series FAT ACTRESS. If you go to Showtime's home page and click to see the previews of the show. You can see what happens when she gets a call from her agent wanting her to do the Jenny Craig commercial. I tried to put a link but it didn't work.

Well, I would see it was bad marketing if it was a skinny gurl doing the commercial. But she is putting herself out there as an over wieght mama. So, she is an average american who just happens to be in the public eye. But I tell you this is her way of coming out of the fat closet!! lol

I dont think its in bad tatse. In my opinion, Kirstie Alley is trying to show that she may be a celebrity but she is heavy and wants people to feel comfortable joining Jenny Craig. While some people may take offense at it, a lot of people may actually view themselves as chubby and see Kirstie as an inspiration. Id rather see that commercial than those damn Trimspa commericals with Anna Nicole Smith! Those commercials truly make me sick!

That is pathetic commercial and so is that link that was posted up.
Many moons ago it was prefered for a woman to be chubby. Many people
still prefer it. What they are doing is making people think that you are a bad
person if you are chubby. They want that so you spend $$$$ on their product.
In fact if you just eat right and excersise in a few months you will see a huge
difference. Of course a plan will sometimes help you stay on track. but really...
if you do not have the will to do it.. you wont ever do it .. you will just spend $$$
following the fads.

Well whatever the case, christy is getting paid to lose weight. Cha Ching.
