nah this is just my opinion, for me:
there is no soulmate- the perfect man for me, is a figment of MY imagination......he does not exist.....not to say that i don't believe in soulmate-i do,
you will find your mate in the most unexpected place at the most peculiar time

You ladies are right. I'm starting to think this whole business about meeting your soulmate, that one person who was meant for you is all BULLS**T. I'm not saying it doesn't happen I'm just saying it doesnt happen to everyone, and yor right if it does happen to you, it will be when you least expect it. So you just have to go with the flow and enjoy life, live like theres no tomorrow. But just be careful, that if it does come knocking at your door, you don't pass it by.
 
Ditto to that Whocarez.......You will find your soul mate and like you said she'll be somewhere where you least expect to find her OR maybe she's right in front of you all this time and you don't even know it. Enjoy Your life......LIVE it to the fullest!! And when the time is RIGHT you will know who she is.....that I am positive of. Im done as far as my end is concerned, there is nothing more I can do. I will let the rest take its course, whatever happens, happens. I handled it wrong in the beginning because I put everything else aside. But not anymore, now im back to living my life and not letting anything pass me by, if it was ment to be it will happen eventually but I sitll need to do whats right for me.

I will be fine with this. Im more mad at myself for what has happened with this situation. I should have known better to let it go this far. Its wierd but no matter how experienced you are with relationships sometimes you cant prepare for certain situations.
 
Wow you got some great advice already but, I just wanted to jump in at the end. Maybe she is scared or afraid for some reason, some people run as soon as they feel some kind of electricity, I know because I have done that. As soon as i'd feel that electric vibe thing or the butterflys I'd run like hell. So afraid to give into to my emotions, because I believed that once you give in and fall that the other person somehow controls you heart,( they gain the power to make or break you) and it scared me so much that i'd let something good go bye. I regretted it later but, My instinct told me that falling was a bad thing and I'd been hurt before so, I wasn't trying to give in to any spark. And when I did I't would take me a while to get the feelings to come out of my mouth and into words. It's weird but, some people myself included miss out on things for fear of loosing that feeling in the long run. Maybe she feels something for you but, is scared, sounds crazy but, it happens believe me. I know yoou made your decision but, have you spoken to her about this. If so and youve made no progress then I say move on. But, if you haven't then maybe you should. 🙂 Wish you the best.
 
Thanx destiny but I havent made my decision. For the first time in my life I can't just walk away. Her mother actually wrote me a long e-mail, it sounds wierd but in a way its not. I am gonna try and work this out. Whatever happens, happens, but I am definately gonan give it my all. Afterall, it takes alot for me to feel like this about someone, so I can't just walk away.

Im glad you decided to give it your all, I can't tell you how bad it is to regrett letting something go, and never knowing the out come. Whatever her mom emailed you , it must've been good. I'm glad you decided to work through it, Like I said Maybe she is scared maybe not, whatever it is It's good to know that you haven't let her go just yet.!!
 
I have to admit that it helps alot getting other peoples point of views. They bring up things that you may not have thought about or overlooked.
