I CANT SAY THEY WERE ALL QUALITY TRACKS BUT A TON OF FREESTYLE CAME OUT OF PHILLY SPECIFICALLY "SOUTH PHILLY" AND EVEN THOUGH I DONT WANT TO GET STARTED ON MY FEELINGS ABOUT JERSEY I DO HAVE TO SAY THAT AT ONE POINT IN TIME JERSEY WAS IN CONTROL OF THE REIGNS OF FREESTYLE AND HAD A BIG BUZZ GOIN ON FOR QUITE A WHILE
Hiram, yes I am the original singer of the song and the ONLY one that I am aware of, LOL.. I wish I was around when they were giving out those 12"'s lol... I do have one and FreeJack made me a CD of the song (thank you again Freejack! Muuuahhh! ) but the copy I have was given to me by a friend! I actually just recently found out how to contact tony C and gave him a call. Boy was he surprised! LOL..
Paul, Thank you so much! LOL.. and just because we don't agree on something doesn't mean we can't just agree to disagree and continue on...everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's all good!
Oh and Paul, yes it was We b Records on the label, but it was done out of TC RECORDS
I don't care where it came from!!!, but when I received my 2 promo copies, I made sure that it was in my mixes every weekend on (KPRR Power 102),
and each time it was played the phone lines would light up!!! Local record shops would run out of it all the time. I just wish they would have printed a
picture of her on the cover!!!!!!!!!!! Till this day this is one of my top ten
freestyle records, thank you Heartbrake and the producers of this record
for giving us a great classic. J.W.R.
Wondrouz rojas... wow.. what can I say... Thank you so much! It always fills me with awe and happiness when I hear comments like yours.
I appreciate the support and my thanks again for loving the record.....
