Do any of you ever feel like you have been single for so long, that if you ever meet someone, you will be so set in your ways, it will be difficult to make the transition from alone to coupled? Does that make sense ?
 
It's been 2 1/2 years for me & yes i do think it will be hard for me. Cuz not only will i always love my son's father (RIP) but i just have my own ways & changing them up may not be for me...LOL

Oh my God yes!!! I think about that all the time. I was married for 5 1/2 years and I have been divorced for 7, and I always think about that cause everyone always says to me ,"you are young, you will get married again, and have more kids," and I think, "would I really want my life to change that much?" Could I really stand having to share everything in my life with someone that much?? I mean, dont get me wrong, I have been involved in relationships since my divorce, I have even considered remarrying, but that thought scares me, it would be such a major change.
 
i feel that way lamondfan. guess having a bad marriage and a equally bad divorced did to me.

Hey Ant! I remember that little thing you told me a while ago:

"Isn't it cool to think that somewhere, there's a man out there, going through his daily life, watching tv, on the comp, not knowing you, or the fact that "CHUCKD" is stamped on his heart?"

That thought gets me through sometimes Ant.

and to that guy out there (whether I know him 😉 or not) I'm ready and waiting......
 
Ok.. well Ive been divorced over 10 yrs and alone now for 13 yrs.. So im super independent.. Im changin all that at end of the month because I have found the man that I want to spend the rest of my life with. So Im sure adjusting to this new life will be a challenge but Im ready to do whatever it takes to be w/ the one that I love!! 😀
