Oh, so is there relationship coming to an end. Is that why your friend brought up his marriage? Is he now rethinking his marriage? Must be some recent marrital impact or he would have been talking to you about this 6 months ago.

let me explain he married a girl after 3 months of dating her they have been married over a year
Well, if there marriage is ok & strong, then maybe its fine that they only knew each other 3 months. It is very short to only know someone 3 months before such a permanent decision, but thats why i was wondering if their now rethinking it. I personally dont think their marriage will last. sometimes you need to know someone a lot longer than that to really know them. People sometimes change when they start to feel "comfortable" in a relationship. I think they are maybe both very insecure, and needed to feel stability in a relationship. Thats probably what brought them to such a quick marriage...

there was nothing in what i said that they are rethinking anything in fact i started this thread because of a previouly joking about how i might pop the question to my gf who at the time been dating 3 weeks
