Kenny Guido
Well-known member
Well, I tried getting an update on them for you and this is what I got:
Hi Kenny. Chequemaster D$B of (the original) Tommy Boy Records here.
As you are no doubt well aware, the Information Society of those days
broke up 10 years ago. Kurt Harland did a solo album under the Insoc
name in 1997, which was goth-industrial, but in recent interviews he has
indicated that he is no longer pursuing any Insoc activity. Instead he
is in San Francisco working full-time for Crystal Dynamics writing
soundtracks for video games. When last heard from, Paul Robb had moved
to Los Angeles, continuing his work in TV & film scoring (you may have
seen his name in connection with various South Park-related projects a
few years ago) and other independent album projects for various
now-defunct labels. In both cases, the e-mail addresses I had for them
bounced last fall and they haven't sent me updated ones. James Cassidy
is on a farm in Oregon somewhere, long out of the music business.
