Fernando

For all you hardcore FreeStyle collectors,

How much is this record worth, in your opinion?

This Is How Much * Grabbin Crotch * Lmaooooooooooooo Im Messin With yaaaaaaaa 😛

I have one and was offered $200 a few months ago. I don't have too many rare ones so I decided to keep it. The song is real good, which is more important to me than it's rarity.

Wow

AnthonyA1971,

Thanks for your input. I just traded for this record (in excellent condition), and all it cost me was:

$20
+ a Joey C. "All I'm Asking" 12-inch single
+ four Micmac records (T.P.E., Nyasia, and two others--I don't remember which ones right now)

The five records I traded were all doubles.

- Fernando Benitez from San Diego, CA -

😀

If someone is interested in trading for my Inferno record, I will only accept both of the following records for it--and they must be in good condition:

Galley - "Forgive Me Girl"
Internal Affairs - "If You Don't Know (What Love Is)"

- Fernando Benitez from San Diego, CA -

😉

Fernando:

Keep the Inferno. The Inferno is very good, but not worth trading for both of those records.

I actually thought you would ask for 3 records and want a Segment 12 included as well.

Steve (a.k.a. "mez"),

The offer in this thread was not specifically directed at you, although you may have thought so, especially since you already e-mailed me three times about this record.

I am perfectly satisfied keeping the Inferno record, unless someone else is willing to make the trade.

By the way, the Segment 12 record is rare, but the song is just okay.

Fernando:

Not sure what you are trying to get at about me emailing you 3 times.

I emailed you 1.) to ask if you would like to trade the Inferno record. 2.) sent you a list of those rare records I have for trade and this list did not include Segment 12. 3.) told you I also have Giggles/Hot Spot as well. This is not a rare record and was just a joke.

Based on your post and not hearing a response from you, I posted for you to keep the Inferno record. That's all.

If you keep the Inferno record (Enjoy) and best wishes to getting both the Galley and Internal Affairs for the Inferno.

By the way: I do disagree with your opinion that Segment 12 is just okay. The Segment 12 is excellent. If just okay, not sure why it is included in the 7 records on your want list.

It's on my want list because...

I have the "Let's Find A Way" song on a bootleg CD, and although I already have the only good version off that Segment 12 record--the FreeStyle version from the second side--I would like to own the original vinyl copy. There's no hurry, however, since, as I previously stated, the record is more rare than it is good.

Fernando: The Segment 12 record is 1 of 7 records on your want
list, yet you indicate it is just okay.

Since you dont have the record. It has a radio mix,
funky radio mix, and club mix. All 3 are different and
ALL ARE EXCELLENT!

Anthony: Thanks for the Pat Cooper. That's a special record!

Stop bullsh!tting me or any potential traders.

I have played all the mixes on that Segment 12 record, someone I know brought the record over to my home. How do you think I was able to record my bootleg CD? None of the mixes were that great. The only one worth recording was the one I ended up putting on my bootleg CD. The "Club Mix"--which I refer to as the FreeStyle version--is the only one worth listening to, as the other ones are mediocre, at best.

As for why that record is on my want list, I already explained that: go back and read what I wrote.

Fernando, the inferno song is great, but it's not worth Galley and Internal Affairs for the Inferno, Galley is probley harder to find then the Inferno 12inch, and Internal Affairs record, i think that song is just as good as the inferno jam, if you still want to trade the Inferno record, send me a list of what your looking for and maybe we can work out a trade or something, the funny thing about all of these rare 12inch jamz is, nobody has them and the records stores dont have them either, who the HELL has them then lol

Anthony:

I agree with your comment. Any feedback on the Segment 12 record?

Fernando:

There is no need for you to respond for me to quit bullshi!ing you or potential traders. There is no truth to that comment

The only BS is that which you are throwing and I am about to ask Jack for a shovel.

I am just getting warmed up so hopefully ( if you are smart ) you will stop replying to me on this site. If you have anything further to reply to me, this is not the forum to do so.

My email: MEZ@JAVANET.COM
However, I hope you will stop period.

PEACE

If I am smart?

Steve,

My opinion on the Segment 12 record is that you are over-hyping it in order to raise its perceived value. It wouldn't be the first time you've done that with one of your doubles, and these are not just my thoughts: Someone you and I both know (out of Florida), who is a much bigger collector than the both of us, warned me about this practice, and I tend to believe him.

"The only BS is that which you are throwing and I am about to ask Jack for a shovel."

If you want get Jack involved in this thread, do so. However, he probably has better things to do than come to your aid.

"I am just getting warmed up so hopefully ( if you are smart ) you will stop replying to me on this site. If you have anything further to reply to me, this is not the forum to do so."

I don't tell (nor do I expect) you to stop posting because I say so, so why would you expect me to do the same?

If I am smart? Intimidation doesn't work with me.

P.S. Anthony, I will not trade the Inferno record for anything other than what I already listed. If I can't make that trade, then so be it. I'll keep my Inferno record and be satisfied.

i've been reading this stuff and i think it's kinda funny - there's no use in arguing with fernando - cuz even when he's wrong he will always have the final word ( i know from experience 😉 ) if you're not interested in what he's offering /what he wants - then leave this (and him) alone.

Fernando:

You are making up stories that I am over-hyping records to raise its perceived value. What records?? I have no need to hype the Segment 12 record. There are only 100 copies and it is excellent.

Your trade offer of Galley + Internal Affairs for Inferno is ridiculous.
I mentioned the Segment 12 only as an example since it was 1 of 5 remaining ( very rare ) records on your want list. I was surprised that you did not include Segment 12 or another record from your want list in addition to the Galley + Internal Affairs for Inferno. Therefore, drop the Segment 12. It was just an example of how ridiculous your trade offers are.

Your freestyle trade sight: (NO BS ) I will double your offer or make a fair trade to obtain 1 of those 7 from your want list.

Know where you are at: Your initial post of how much Inferno is worth belongs on Freestyle music talk.

Jack Involved: I am not running to the aid of Jack, just need him to pass me a shovel.

Overall: Your trade offer for the Inferno and your trade sight to obtain 1 of those 7 from your want list is ridiculous. That is my opinion. However, what is ridiculous to some, may not be ridiculous to others.

Again: Peace and best wishes in obtaining those on your want list. I think you should drop it.

Good luck to you, too.

I will agree to disagree and leave it at that.

I have tremendous respect for your last comment and for this to end.

Best wishes!
