India @ SOB's last night

hey ppl..

last night i went to see India at SOB"S in manhattan. it was mostly her salsa set that she performed...but in the middle of her set..she just broke into da spanish version of "dancing on the fire". then she did the chorus in english...then she went into "lover who rocks you". this was all accapella by the way. then after...she performed the entire song "love and happiness". that sh*t was like a 15 minute version...no lie. her voice was in top notch shape.she sounded amazing. her voice never ceases to amaze me.

ahhh..i'm sorry Martini...i figured since it wasn't gonna be a freestyle show. but next time i know she's gonna be somewhere i'll be sure to let u know. she's gonna be performing at Carnegie Hall in September though.
 
aight yo...i'll do that luscious. she usually does a free show somewhere in the city every summer. i'm sure this year will be no exception. last year it was at the World Trade Center Stage 🙁
