Hey all my Freestyle friends...
I've been on this website a while but never formally introduced myself (how rude) lol. Anyways a lil about myself (or alot, we'll see...)
My real name is Teresa(last names a secret) : )
I'm from Austin Texas (born and raised)
But, I've also lived in other parts of Texas.
Odessa, El Paso,& Brownwood. As most of you probably were (or still do) I used to listen to R&B and crap from the radio. That was because I was igrorant to anything else. But way before that around 95 i think the local radio station 92.5 would play freestyle(that was before it was known to me as "freestyle") and hell ya I liked it.
Then later another station 88.5 would play freestyle and thats when I really got into it. I went back and heard the tapes I made and later found out that Tury Q was the DJ!
Anyway, on that show they mentioned a local owned store called Turntable records. I decided to take a visit...
So my obssession began! (& I mean obsession) I started buying mixes first then new the artists names better and started buying full length albums. Then I got really deep>>Thanks to my friend from work(Jason -shout out to ya lol) He introduced to a kool guy,DJ Brownboy James. And I got hooked up with the old school sh@t..So now I think I'll start collecting records(need a turntable first)
Also I'm currently taking singing lessons so one day I'd like to sing Freestyle. I also like to write and have written a few songs. I also like to draw(or used to in school)>>So (hopefully) in the near future be on the look out for me HEEHEE>>>>>>> : )
