I've been thinking about this lately...Do you think this site would be as good if Freestyle was completely mainstream. Do you think the members would be as close as they are? I think the fact that we are all here and support freestyle and we have a cause makes this site and its members very unique. Just something I've been thinking about.

That's a very good question.....I would say it would be better cuz the more people who know most likely would want to join the site
 
this place would get too crowded if freestyle were mainstream! besides, one of the reasons I like freestyle is because you can't get it all the time now... you gotta enjoy it while it dies!
 
Well you know what they say tran man.....the more, the merrier!!! We could all have a big freestyle orgy LMAO!!!!
 
Hi Mike, Yes I do.

Freestyle music has it's unique 'culture.' The Freestyle Culture.
We do our own thing and have our own style.
99% of us have allot of love to share with each other.

I feel this site would be no different - just on a larger
scale if Freestyle went mainstream.
 
it would be larger but i feel everyone would be happier because there would be so much stuff to talk about if there was a huge tidal wave of freestyle again. but you would still have the haters and lovers fighting on how good or bad a song/artist is/was.
 
well pop and hip hop are mainstream right now and its not the same like it used to be (mainly hip hop) its all about the money now and its so commercialized. The songs now are all about the same thing and theres all these artists coming out of the wood work just trying to get into the scene. I personally wouldnt want this for freestyle but then of course if freestyle did make it big once again then there would be morer songs and it would be easier to find and hear it. Like everything in life this situation also has its pros and cons...
 
I totally agree that it has its pros and cons.In one way its cool that we are all here and we are part of something that not everyone knows about. But on the others hand we are all here because we want it to grow and thats a big part of what has brought us all together here .

very true but i dont mind it cuz i look at it like we are the chosen ones... lol plus u not listening and pumping the same crap everyone else is lol...theres only so much ja rule,ashantie,eminem,nelly,etc one can take
