all the men and women who are shipping off this Sunday to Kuwait. I know this is a political and very touchy subject but I had to give props to those braves souls going out there to make sure we continue to live the way we do.

And with this I say "until next time we hang girl "to my very best cousin. Milda Rosario, who will be one of the many people shipping off this Sunday. Hey Cuz, be safe, keep your head up, I know if given a choice you'd rather be home with your two kids, but you can't right now, but you know they are in good hands with the fam. I love you girl and get back home safe. MUAHHHHHHHHHHH! When you get back I will be waiting with those CORONAS nena!!!

PEACE and LOVE to you.

Thank you guys, your words mean alot to me.

Gnite.

Dedicated to all the brave servicemen and women who are being sent from their families and friends......We Love You!

Lonely fear lights up the sky
Can't help but wonder why
You're so far away
There, you had to take a stand
In someone else's land
Life can be so strange
I wish we never had to choose
To either win or lose
We could find a way
We could find a way
But I won't turn my back again
Your honor I'll defend
So hurry home `til then
`Til then

Stand tall; stand proud
Voices that care are crying out loud
And when you close your eyes tonight
Feel in your heart how our love burns bright

I'm not here to justify the cause
Or to count up all the loss
That's all been done before
Just can't let you feel alone
When there's so much love at home
We're sending out to you
All the courage that you've known
The bravery you've shown
Clearly lights the way
We pray, to make the future bright
To make the wrong things right
We're all praying you remain strong
That's why we're all here singing along

Stand tall; stand proud
Voices that care are crying out loud
And when you close your eyes tonight
Feel in your heart how our love burns bright

You are the voice and the guiding light
Feel in your heart how our love burns bright....

how ironic naya im also Rosario.. Javier Luis Rosario..they called me "rosey" in the military..i missed dessert storm by a month..I served six years in the navy.I was a corpsman...which is a field medic..i am not a coward at all but ill be straight up and tell you i was scared to go..being a medic puts you right on the front line and it isnt anything like the movies..where soldiers just say "go on without me its just a flesh wound!! when yo take a bullet you scream and cry like a baby..I dont care how much you can bench press or how many miles you can run with a fifty pound back pack on or how many push ups you can do!!..cry for your mother ...in real life when youre being sent into an area far from home and your loved ones..where your up against people who are trained to and would love to kill you!!just in training i had to help alot of marines who were hurt bad..{the marines use navy corpsman as feild medics and are thought of as the most important member of a platoon..the one individual that you call out to after god..the one who will stop the bleeding and save your aZZ!!)..not even in real combat..but drills!! I was fortunate enough to get an honorable discharge before going into war.. I dont think any one not in the military realizes the sacrifices made daily so we can go on comfortable..about our daily routines and bitching about little things like gas prices and bad cable reception! we..americans..friends family are being sent into live fire..what pisses me off is that we are an arrogant society..all about worrying about the next nice car we want to be seen in..the next big house we can buy..the next designer label suit we can dress in..the next fancy resturant we can eat in and not appericiating those of us who are on the front line wondering if there is a tommorow..right now there is someone from your neighborhood oiling thier rifle..putting on body armor..donning a field helmet and praying that they wont be on the next casualty list..the next body bag being shipped home..thats reality..and we are here basically saying we support you but secretly saying "better you then me"..everyone who musters in the morning..puts on the uniform of the day is a hero..god bless and protect them.but really let those who are home and just reading and seeing it on CNN appreciate and honor them.and be thankful..for to do otherwise is a disgrace!! theres alot more that happens then the media will tell you we still have thousands of soldiers changed forever from desert storm and i personally have met alot of them at the veterans hospital in nothport long island. "siempre fi..do or die hoowahh" god bring them all back safe!!! may god protect her and everyone else both there and here !!!

Taezee, she's AIrMedic for the Air Force. But she was in the Army fist, did her time at desssert Storm.

Chuck D that was a very beautiful poem.

Let's just all keep them in our prayers and like aim4night said, wish for a good outcome.
Krystal thanks for the blesing sis😉

Edalgiere, she's in my prayers too.

coro'sgirl, how are you mama?

Fossie, gracias nene lindo.

I'm saying with all the women that are staying behind witout there hubby's, boyfriends, fiance's etc... they need to strap us with some of that fire power and let us take care of this punk ourselves!..LOL there's going to be alot of frustrated women walking the streets! and don't get us one PMS week!!! watch out now!..LOL

Lets' all of us here at CF keep our US soldiers in our prayers. Pray for there salvation for which that is the most important thing God Bless them all.

From a veteran to those that are serving now. I know it will suck. Just try to remember why you're there. I'm sure the images are burned in your memory. I know they would rather be home with their families, but they chose a noble thing in defending and fighting for their country. My hat's off to all of you. Stay safe. Stay on the alert. And kick some f*cking ass.

Actually Nya,

Those are the words of a song called "Voices That Care" that was recorded during Desert Storm. It was a "We Are The World" type of thing and was dedicated to the soliders fighting then.

It seemed appropriate to post it here now.

You know my heart will be with you and your family during the time away naya, it's a shame what this world is coming to........: (

Naya may God keep your cousin close and safe. May she miss all the danger that could ever be headed her way. As a mother, I really pray that she has a safe return home one day to her daughters. It's very heartbreaking to leave your children behind to serve for your country. But may she find that incredible strength for the love of her children to keep herself strong, brave, and safe to "troop" it out, do what she has to do, and back to the arms of those little girls who need their "mommy". God bless them all.

My husbands nephew is also in the service but is in Japan right now. WE hope he doesn't get sent to war. But we all know that it's possible. So we feel for you and your family.
