I just want to speak my peace.I want to say to all of the freestyle entertainers Thank You for your wonderful music.
Times aren't the same now a days musically cause there is so much more music today but freestyle has always been a part in my lifestyle cause this was the music I grew up with and went to clubs with and still to today blast it in my sound system.Freestyle music will always be a part of my lifestyle.

Back in January 2003 I went to Blis here in NYC(Queens) to see NYASIA Cynthia SAFIRE LISETTE MELENDEZ and let me tell u something,it really felt good to hear live freestyle again.

Alot of my friends suggests that I go with the flow and change my liking in music but they must be on some cheap narcotics.
So again Thanks You to all of you for your music.

Don't let anyone tell ya to change your musical tastes.

I know some peeps who are into much more over-exposed music. They are always riding me about how "no one" 🙄 knows what freestyle is.

I asked to see their cds, commented on how plain the covers were. Then I whipped out all my autographed cds, and said that while freestyle may not be a wide spread as their rock, but at least I can meet the performers who make the music I love, and get to meet them ona personal level.

Freestyle will always be in my portable cd player, my car, and my heart.

You remind me of myself.I have lots of pics with alot of freestyle artist and autographs too.But there are some peeps like you said that brag on how they luv freestyle and stuff but the reality is to get to meet them and say I luv your cd etc.
I like you have gotten that privelage to meet at least some of them and show my support.

I think the best thing about freestyle is that a large majority of the singers are in our area and we can relate to thier music.

as for the many varities of music, there has always beeen a large varity. back then, there was RAP, REGGAE, HOUSE, FREESTYLE, HEAVY METAL, NEW WAVE (MODERN ROCK) & POP.

Today, im sure there are as many types as there were back then.
