Alex(Freestylefreak4) turned me on to a Spanish speaking station that plays freestyle during lunch time in MIA. After listing to that station and hearing about The Freedy Lopez show, I think there might be a solution to getting the word out on the new freestyle. We need to get spanish, tropical/merengue stations to start rotating the new freestyle. It's worth a good try, The La mega stations are very popular and sometimes play bilingual stuff too. If anybody got any connections with the hot merengue, spanish stations like Mega97 in NYC. Hey it's worth a try, I believe it would be a huge success. How about that?😉
 
mega 97 use to play it sat nights i am not sure if they still do and i think 105.9 throws in a few songs 🙂

I hope they do. If they just devoted an hour to the new Freestyle and some old stuff. It could get lifted and have some of the artist shows promoted with the other Merengue artist, freestyle could slowly return to it's big heyday!!!
 
Well thats how it worked for me in getting my songs on the radio. By targeting the spanish stations. Latinomix has been open and playing R-JAM material. (www.rjamproductions.com) There is also another station called Rumba 107.1 that just started up recently and they may also be open.
 
Sounds good R-Jam. Here's the mission. If anybody got any connections with peeps who work for the Spanish stations in NYC, Miami, Chicago, No and So Cal and Texas, see if you can try to sprad the word on the new freestyle to get it on rotation. One of my friends in class dates a guy who assistant prog. Director for LaMega 730am, LaMega92.7 here in DC. I'm telling her to explain to him about some new frestyle artist and try to get them on rotation. We can never give up on freestyle. LETS DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1😉
 
WELL THE HOURS IN WHICH THEY CHOSE TO AND I SAY CHOSE BECAUSE I AM NOT SURE THAT THEY DO STILL DO THIS SINCE I HARDLY EVER LISTEN TO EITHER STATION BUT I RECALL IT BEING AFTER 10 AND MAYBE 1 OR TWO DURING LUNCH 🙂
