It wasn't released by Metropolitan...

TAZMANIA FREESTYLE: THE NEW SERIES - LEVEL A was released independantly by Tazmania Records through a company they created called Kingdom Distribution.

By the time this compilation was released, Metropolitan had already tarnished Tazmania's image by pressuring them into rushing productions so they can release a new CD every other month. The Taz guys got sick of it around VOL. 10 and gave Metro whatever material had been laying around for the last 4 volumes to fullfill their contract.

LEVEL A was supposed to be the return of Tazmania's original sound and in my opinion it was the best installment since VOL. 6 (although 14, which oddly enough came out after LEVEL A, wasn't too bad). It did poorly in sales because most people though it was just going to be a another collection of garbage tracks like on 12 & 13. This discouraged the guys from continuing any further and Tazmania Records officially closed after the release of LEVEL A.
