no matter wut remakes never seem to be do justice to the originals no matter who the artist. for example rockelle and collage two of freestyle most amazing artists did a remake of johnny os and cynthias all time classic dream boy dream girl and i think it sux. its kinda like dont be a duplicator be and originator....
but one song i like better than the original is rockelles in a dream... go figure there are always the odd exceptions...

Exactly. Everyone knows I love that song, but when I heard that remake, I was like "hell no!" There are just some songs that should not be touched.

And back to the original of this thread, the remake of "Change On Me" I don't like. You shouldn't screw with classics. There's a saying: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
