I Miss You

Shall I yell it loud for everyone to hear,
Tell of the ache in my heart,
The numbness in my eyes from so many tears.
How I still look to my window pane,
In hopes to see your shadow your face,
I miss you,
Your always there in every corner of my mind,
Sometimes I cry and want to yell,
I try not to dwell on what was or could have been,
That’s when the swelling in my heart begins.
So I relive those nights, yes of you and me,
Dream them over and over,
So it remains real always deep within me.
I miss you,
I can not lie, If I had one wish I’d ask to go back in time,
To that first time you held me near,
Remember that how you snuck in from behind,
Sat there watching as I turned to you,
Smile so bright I couldn’t help but want you.
Your eye’s they searched my soul,
Made me yours from the get go.
I miss you,
The beauty in your eye’s, Most of all I miss,
The best friend I had in you.
So good together, no one really knows,
All we shared and how much I carry in my heart.
I miss you I wont and can’t ever deny,
There is new hope in my future,
A tiny blessing in disguise.
