I might return to DJing

This summer, I might get back into the DJ thing. I was suppose to do it sooner, but financial reason and my diappointment in music has caused me to back away from it. I'm mainly into DJing House, techno and acid. But as many know, the state of dance music for the last couple of years has stunk. Many great american Dance mags like DMA has gone under. The only great mags are Mixmag and DJ which are Brit publications. They are very expensive. Plus most clubs now are shoving hip hop down peoples throats. Hip hop can be heard on the radio!!! HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I might get back into it, i'll mostly do CD's and I was told of a few clubs in the area that still do dance/techno.

It seems like Pop and hip Hop is killing DJing. And CD Djing, now every kind in Surburbia now think he can DJ and it just took the fun out of it.

I'm looking to get some good equiptment. I'm searching through the net for good dance music sites. Luckly we do have a great Dance Music store here in DC called; 12" Inch Dance records. They are great. They even sell freestyle.

I really want to get back into DJing. I just want to play what I love, and what I known others want to hear. Everybody don't want to hear pop, everybody don't want to hear hip hop as party music. Many want some house, trance, acid and even freestyle.
