Ok,

here goes; we all love freestyle music and as we all know who love it know that all the old freestyle songs from the 80's and 90's are all way out of print and almost impossible to find especially the remix singles that we all search for on ebay all the time, the ones that are promo copies sent out from the labels.

well here is my comment........

is there a bit torrent site or a place that already exists where people who have these OUT OF PRINT items can trade mp3s of these classic remixes of freestyle that we cannot find anymore

if there isnt we should start trading with each other via mp3....

i know people are gonna scream its illegal, but how can it hurt an artist who doesnt have the CD or mix available for sale anymore

any sites that have this or any suggestions

we all just wanna have the music and remixes we love even if they are out of print

wow, no replys to this yet.

do not be afraid to say that you want to trade mp3s of freestyle songs that you OWN that are out of print.

I am all for supporting artist when they have a new cd out, I will buy the CD and thats my way of supporting them, but you do have a very good point, Sharing out of print items does keep Freestyle alive, I am up for swapping songs if there is not other means of getting it, I mean what other option do we have ???

I thought about that too many months ago. I have some OOP cds. Sux many will probably never get to hear it. Sad thing is that they want it too but don't have access to it.

Unfortunately your idea will perhaps be a flawed one. For the simple reason that you will have those individuals that do not want to shell out some money on newer albums which pretty much are easy to obtain online, and would rather much trade etc.

It's extremely hard to control piracy in every way because alot of individuals are really not loyal fans of ones work. If you are loyal you will support the artist in everyway possible and don't burn out his music.

But at the same time...there is alot of bad music out there that sells for hefty CD prices.

I could not agree more Engima, but we are talking about of print songs here were there really is no option to buy it.

I am not trying to trade songs that are still in print only ones that cannot be bought, expecially remixes from cd singles

Yes I know. I was just giving my opinion on why a torrent site of exchanging songs will not work out. 🙂

I'm not implying or being direct with anyone. 😉

Personally I would love to get my hands on some old stuff that is basically out of print and impossible to get hands on. 🙁

But I also think that these studios have documents that give them the right to bring certain sites down because of infridgement. I believe they have that in writing so at the same time we are screwed in one way or the other.

I would hope so...that would be cool. No worries and stuff and easier to exchange songs without the illegal laws and crap.

Maybe it would be best to get with that person.

That might help out...that's an idea.

Anyways I'm gonna be honest here...I have alot of old freestyle that I never in my life heard of. Thanks to a few friends that gave it to me. Most of what I have cannot be found on CD whatsoever. What a freakin shame man. I think that some that spread this good out of print music to someone else's ear...we make them happy. That's a good thing...at the same time they are more open to buying other kinds of freestyle being they liked so much what they heard.

*logs off and hits limewire. j/k*

hehe.. Limewire , actually not that I am saying its right, but anytime I download anything from any P2P site, I always run this program called Peer Guardian, look it up on the net it's free and what it does is it blocks the RIAA or whoever to see you on the net...

BTW.. Who gave you those old songs,:cdevil (I am still looking for some. )

or yousendit.com

if i wanna directly send a file from a person to me via email

You rock man...that's the way it should be. I still remember that idiot that guided me to gemm.com when I was looking for some old shit. Like if I'm gonna buy a damn record for $75-$100 off another idiot.

i use demonoid

bit torrent site
Demonoid doesn't have anything. try isohunt.com. I found a torrent there with at least 1GB worth of freestyle. Also try torrentspy.com.
