I Love The 80's one-week series on VH-1!!

U know I didn't enjoy last nites installments ('88 - '89) as much as the earlier ones overall. I remember questioning a few things as I was watching.

I definitely remember disagreeing with the make out songs...

Our (my wife & I) dating song was "Promise Me" by The Cover Girls

Our wedding song is "Always" by Atlantic Star

And I remember "One More Try" by George Michael, "I'll Always Love You" by Taylor Dayne, "Two Occasions" by Baby Face, "I Wanna Sex U Up" by Color Me Badd, "Nite & Day" by Al B Sure being HUGE make out songs (well 4 me at least). Where were they?

Well, Color Me Badd really didnt come onto the scene until about 1990/91 so they wouldnt have been featured on this show anyway.

But i have to agree....I also wasnt crazy about the shows they did last night on 1988/89....I found them to be a little boring.

ya i remeber Cross Colours in style when I was in 6th grade..that would have been 1991 92ish. yeah i agree 88 and 89 were kinda boring...they should have had more freestyle in all the epsiodes not just Lisa Lisa (that was the only freestyle artist i saw in any of em)
