pretty hopeless hearing about the stevie song, i didnt even know it was a remix. and about that chart on the tmr site, what makes a song #1? is it really the fans calling in? because i'm surprised so many people would want to hear the stevie song.
Yes that and the fact there are songs on that chart that the average listener doesn't know...and how can a song be number 1 in like 3 days of airplay taking out a song thats been up there for months...its phony charting
yup gina, guess u summed it up pretty well. i don't know where monaco pulls all those weird songs on his chart but i never hear half of them on the frenzy.
let's all look forward to this afternoon's frenzy LOL and groove with that screwy non-freestyle early-80s funk monaco's been playing to intro the frenzy for the past few weeks
Ok I FINALLY heard the Stevie B remix and it's HORRIBLE...that was one of my all time fave Stevie B songs and they ruined it :mad ...I actually liked the remixes/remakes done with "the postman song" and " dream about you" but this one sucked and yeah its euro not freestyle...but yeah they were playing 80s pop, some euro, the new Kathy Phillips track, Joee and Audry def not worth listening to it I ain't gonna bother with the last 10 mins
Stevie B... his old stuff isn't so hot and the new "remakes" are even worse.
In 2003 it's all about Planet Freestyle. The frenzy has been playing the same old junk, "wanna-be" euro-freestyle tracks.. maybe 1 out of 5 is good. If I want to hear Euro I want to hear the real stuff. 4 Strings, Sylver, ATB, Milk Inc, Orion Too, Ian Van Dahl, Silverblue...
it's like 40 songs tony usually puts on the chart.. i doubt even 30 or 35 songs have been released this year gina so ya "feel it in the air" will definitely be there
I'm talking about the year end countdown Tony does on the Frenzy...it is always all the new freestyle songs released in the past yr...I think you're getting confused with the best of all time countdown he also does on the Frenzy that's usually done early in the year if I'm not mistaken
i'm also talking about the yearend countdown. the one that ceres - open your eyes became #1 on for 2002, it was broken into 3 chunks during the last 3 weeks of december 2002 (that one rite?)
the best-of-all-time countdown - would that be the one every june?
yeah the year end that countdown doesnt include old tracks so I'm guessing Feel It In The Air, Better Than You, Love Me For Life will mos def be up there
I hope I Know by Audry makes the cut and a couple planet freestyle tracks too...one can hope right
it usually doesnt have old songs.. but one exception was in the 2002 countdown (i think) he had the original 1985 donna williams - true love never dies in the 30-something spot.
the Desire track is one of my faves along with kathy phillips in and out but if you were listening to the frenzy today it was nice to see some Pf songs that made the cut for the top 50 of 2003!
