My baby feel off the bed this morning. I can't function at work. I've been crying since 5am. I hope everyone else is having a better day.

What mom hasn't done that, i think it's a mom thing. Just get some guard rails.

I know it's hard to shake the guilt but the baby must be okay if you're at work now right. Just call and check on the baby regularly today. Try to feel better. How old is the baby?
 
aww is the baby ok?? that happens, its not your fault. when my son was a baby he fell off the couch. he wouldnt stop crying so i called my mom and she had my father take us to the emergency room. he was fine. baby's r very strong beings.
 
They baby will be ok like Labettboop said call and check on the baby regularly

OOOOOO DON'T FEEL BAD CAUSE THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPEND TO MY HUSBAND.....OF COURSE HE WASN'T BREASTFEEDING......HE WAS GIVING HIM A BOTTLE IN ONE OF THOSE ROCKING GLIDING CHAIRS AND HUBS FEEL ASLEEP, AND I HEARD A THUMP AND I JUMPED OUT OF BED AND SCREAMED MMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGUUUUUEELLLLLLLLLLLL!!! OMG I WAS CRYING AND EVERYTHING, BUT THE BABY WAS FINE HE WAS ABOUT THE SAME AGE AS YOURS...THE GOOD THING IS THAT HE WAS ALL BUNDLED UP LIKE A TAMALE WITH A COUPLE OF BLANKETS... :baby GIRLLLLL IT HAPPENS...JUST BE MORE CAREFUL NEXT TIME. I KNOW THAT SLEEP CAN JUST COME UP ON US ANY TIME....ESPECIALLY WHEN U HAVE A NEW BORN....I AM SURE EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE 😉
 
High bed, cold wood floors. All i heard was a loud thump and like a minute later he was screaming. My husband was yelling at me. He's been telling for days not to fall asleep with him on the bed. That's probably why i feel so bad. Now they probably going to call BCW.
 
Well Does Your Husband Realize That In The Middle Of The Night You're Tired Too??? Breast Feeding Releases Relaxing Hormones So The Mother And Baby Can Relax And Bond. Those Hormones Put Most Women To Sleep, So If You're Gonna Breast Feed In The Bed Ma You Should Put Baby In The Middle With A Large Pillow Between Baby And Hubby So He Doesn't Get Mushed. Baby Will Be O.k. Mama!

I know. Well he's ok the doctor was laughing at me cause i kept calling. Thank you guys for letting me know it happens. I'm a new mom never had any babies around.
 
i'm so glad your son is okay. babies are stronger than we think. my son fell down my basement steps when he was a year and a half....i was a wreck....the doctor told me he would be fine, it was me he was worried about.lol don't beat yourself up, girl.....it happens to the best of us!! good luck! 🙂
