I cry
I cry for the pain that overflows inside,
It seeps through,
Those many tears in my eye’s.
I plead with my heart,
As it bleeds so frail,
Please stop this ache,
I try to scream and have no voice to yell.
I cry for the passion,
That still burns inside,
For the many memories,
That I now tell goodbye.
I’m on my knees as I pray,
For another moment in time.
I cry for the love,
He failed to see,
For the pain of loving,
And now setting it free,
I cry for him and I cry for me,
For now knowing we would never be.
It burns it stings and cut so deep,
To love a man who would never belong to me.
I cry for he will never know,
What he meant to me,
I cry because I am still in love,
But had to set him free.
I cried today and I shall cry tonight,
Another of many painful cries.
