Why! Do we love so much,
to the point that it causes us pain.
Why! Do we go the extra mile,
if our efforts only go in vain.
Why bother to say "I Love You,"
if this dream just feels like a lie!
Sadden by this picture,
sometimes I wish I could die.
But NO!!!
I stay and pray!!
And hope that things will change,
although the problems continue to gather.
I don't think I can go much further.
Yet, I continue to stay?!?!?!

Yeah you wonder why...why continue with the struggle right if things continue going wrong. If you keeping going...then you have something of great value...and that is that you are not a quitter. 🙂

One continues going in this small world...as life is short and we're only given one chance. If we don't accomplish what we want to accomplish...we will never ever be given the chance to do so in the very far future. And so...day by day we try our best to keep our heads up...and more importantly keep the faith.

Thanks Rolando, those are such words of kindness. I don't believe in giving up no matter how hard things become. I believe there is always a solution to every problem. Except taxes and death, like Victor would say.🙂 But you have to have faith that things will get better. I believe everyone has to go through hell in order to get to heaven. So once your there, you appreciate it.
 
You should never give up! This poem is so strong and heartfelt...Girl, you dont deserve that pain when it comes to you! keep your held up high, you are a great person..:hearton

It's been quite some time since I wrote new poetry I dug up some old ones from highschool that are okay.
