DAMN! I heard about that Chuck! Up until today I believe that was the only death that had been reported at the time I saw the news.

WTF goes thru people's heads? *shakin head* Damn fool!

Today the fatalities are up to 17 including one utility worker that was electrocuted while tryin to restore power to some of the 6 million reported without power! 🙁
 
ohh.. what a lame-ass storm. it was like a mild pitter-patter rain on the roofs, i actually had to strain my ears to hear it on my roof friday morning. then the power went out in the middle of chemistry class around 10:15 and everyone cheered 😀 then it came back on 15 minutes later while my house, about a mile away, had electricity the whole time. i swear it was raining for like 6 hours and thats it, then this gentle breeze just blew. the most surprising thing was the top 2 metres of a dead tree standing in my backyard snapped off and fell right into my pool, other than that this was nothing more than a fall rainstorm.
i swear we got the same idea from tropical storm isidore last year and it was WAY soggier than this but there was no hype whatsoever.
