Well, there's apparently only 3000 tickets to be sold, so you won't see a massive crowd like last years, but sadly I'm pretty sure there'll be underagers. 🙁

3000 tickets and then they are gone.... so you have to pick up your tickets in advance...that's capacity at the docks...
That's what makes this concert so special..not only do you get to see your fave freestyle acts that havn't been in Toronto in a long time.. but only the real fans will purchase their tickets...

But what about the Rumors of Freestyle Rush 2k1...common we can't forget about that...

From what ppl have told me Euro/Freestyle Invasion and Freestyle Rush 2k1 are two different events being brought to you by 2 different promoters.

Personally If there is a Freestyle Rush 2k1 around the same time as Euro/Freestyle Invasion. I would rather go to Freestyle Rush, last year's party was crazy..the Venu was good (Way better than the Docks, thats for sure). I am sure that Freestyle Rush's lineup will be as good, if not better than the Invasion's.

I know some ppl might not share my opinion but this is a public msg board and im expressing my view. So personally if there is a Rush 2k1 im all for it (Have to go with the with last years experience)

As soon as I get confirmation about Freestyle Rush 2k1 I will post it on this msg board

But once again yes there is probably gonna be 2 parties

1. Euro/Freestyle Invasion

2. Freestyle Rush 2k1

Now the thing you have to Remember is that both shows have nothing to do with each other....thats right Euro/Freestyle Invasion from what I have been told is not being brought to you by the same group that brought you last years Freestyle Rush..

Although the parties involved in this years Euro Freestyle Invasion ran the majority of Freestyle Rush last year, You are correct... they are two different parties... also, the other party hasn't been confirmed yet..
So Right Now,
The only Freestyle Invasion will Be On Nov 9/01 at The Docks..

when will tickets go on sale for the invasion??? it would be cool to have a freestyle rush 2k1 as well... last years party was crazy!! i've never been to the docks but from what everyone is sayond it seems like it's a bad location for the invasion... that's not good... last years freestyle rush location was awesome.. they should do it there this year again!! it won't be 19+.. it will be all ages like always.. which sux but what u gonna do... regardless of what parties happen i will be at both!! as for rockell.. carlita said that 103 boy cotted her music but the thing i have been hearing it on 103 still.. so whats going on with that??? i know she dissapointed everyone at the summer rush but it would be awesome to have her at the invasion though, she's an awesome performer!!

nah..can't share that opinion with you. Yes Rockell is a good performer but alot has to be said about her respect to Toronto. I don't have an "official" answer as to why she didn't come, SO that just leaves me to assume she bailed cause she had something better to do.. please correct me if i am wrong. Last thing i wanna do is defame a characterstic of a performer..but to put it bluntly..i GEEVE.

I have more respect for those that show up to perform and work hard to make their career work (ie. Johnny O, Elissa, Cynthia, Noel, Freda..the list goes on).

So to hear Rockell on z103.5 is not an issue anymore to me..she deserves the boycott if that's what z103.5 wants to do.

I'm sorry if i sound rough or TOO opinionated..but that's what happens with DRC has something to say 😀
 
portugino, I haven't heard any of her songs on 103 since rush, maybe they get played during LTA, but I think she's being boycotted from the playlist. Monaco said that she was given a ticket to TO from miami to perform at rush, meanwhile she went to do a show in NY or NJ the day before and called them demanding to be flown in with all her dancers from NY. anyways, organizers of rush are majorly peeved and said don't expect to hear her songs on the radio anytime soon....
 
if she did something stupid like that... people in t.o. should not have any respect for her.. she's not worth it.. as good a performer as she is.. she can't stiff our major events like that.. that's not right. i like her a lot but if she's not here for the invasion... than too bad.. she doesn't deserve to be here!!!
 
montreal, you can buy tickets at www.ticketmaster.ca starting on saturday. I read on tony monaco's site that if the concert sells out quickly, they're going to add another show the next night for 19+.
