dont use them!!! last year they screwed me on my return...my total return was 800 bucks and i owed the state 48

the 2 years before (not with hr block)my return was always atleast 2500 and the state paid me 400...but the guy went over it again and again and insisted he was right

this year i went with a diffrent company...and my return is 3000 and the state is paying me 536


my income didnt change much at all this year from last...i am real annoyed...i wish i would have investigated more last year...i just thought it was because i made a few thousand more then the year before...but this year i am at the same level as last year and my return is still good...i wonder if i can do anything to remedy this situation

You can have the other company go over last year's return for you. If a mistake has been made I do believe you can still file an amended return. 😉

I hear so many horror storie from these peeps, I have been doing my taxes with the same guys for 4yrs now and I have neva had a probem. But look into what krys says because you should be able to file an amended forms.

damn I haven't filed yet and a co worker said H&R messed him BIG time cuz they didn't take out NYC taxes...but I yelled at him about HIM not putting it on his fed & state forms..
damn so who I go to instead of H&R?????
