Howard Stern has said that he would replace Simon Cowell on American Idol, but only if they cough up 100 million big ones. Says Stern:

"They'd have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough. Yeah I would do that show for $100 million."

Stern, referring to the Idol as a "fucking karaoke contest" said that being a judge would be the best job on the planet and he is even rumored to be leaving Sirius XM Radio soon.
BUT $100 million is a lot of money…

BUT $100 million is a lot of money…

"Karaoke contest" is the best way to describe it. That's part of why I don't like cover songs as it's basically karaoke taken to the industry level. I can't believe that more people don't see it that way. I thought creativity was supposed to matter also.

I dont think Ive ever watched 1 episode in its entirety. I will watch it if stern is on but like jOEL Schumacker once said "he is a great audience of himself".

In all honesty, I have several albums from former Idol contestants like Kelly Clarkson and Daughtry, and it's a helluva lot more original than the same sampled over-processed BS being put out today....Now Howard Stern? I thought Simon was lobbying for Elton John to take his place.
