I just found out that my neice is dating an ex of mine. Mind you my neice isn't old enough to drink and my ex is in his 20s. I totally lost it when they told me last night.... And now I have to keep this horrible secret becuz her parents would kill her!

I feel like :barf .. this had disgusted me and has caused me pain all day today....:sosad

What do I do now???!!!
 
MyOnly I would be very upset. Is she a close cousin? if she is she should of known better than to do that to you. I personally would not cover for her. That is my opinion. :aangel
 
well I wouldnt tell parents as of yet..Because sometiems it make things worse you know..But do what your gut insticts ma ..If she is mad young then do what you have to do ,,you know him better

She not only my neice but she's my god-daughter too!!! We are very close!!!
 
Talk to your niece and let her know how you feel about the whole thing if not its gonna keep bothering you and dayum how can she date one of your ex's and his ass should no better men I tell ya jodones.

She's barely 17...and of course I've told her that I would be hurt if she would be with anyone I have dated before. Thats the cardinal rule, btw friends and family.. never date the next ex!!! Trust me he knows how old she is!!! URGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
 
Well, Then Maybe You Should Say Something, But Not B/c She Has Him And You Don't, But B/c That's Against The Law. And As Her Godmother It Is Your Job To Help Watch Over Her.
 
True.. I've been going over this situation over and over in my head. I dont' want to come off like I'm jealous! Cuz actually, I'm not! But it irks me that he's a man and she's a kid!!!
 
You’re her godmother and you’re supposed to look out for her well being. If you’re that close to her and she has confided in you many things she wouldn’t tell her parents, then you should at least talk to her about how you feel. Be sincere. Remember that she’s not as mature as you are, so be careful how you address this serious issue. It could easily be misinterpreted. Hope it turns out good for you and you can solve it quickly.
