Sooooo, do you avoid walking under ladders? Fear breaking mirrors because of the 7 years bad luck? Carry and "lucky" items? Do you ouija? Would you spend the night in a supposed haunted house? Alone???????
 
I am superstitious except for the whole black cat thing...I have a black cat and he is my baby!!! :cat

Oh, I love black cats too...I've never had a black one, all my cat's have been orange tabbys. But certain things, I'm superstitious, others I'm not. I tend to believe in things(includind people) until I'm given a reason not to. Don't care about walking under ladders. 13 is one of my lucky numbers, though 666 creeps me out. The only thing I fear of breaking a mirror is having to clean it up afterwards...
 
Sometimes things are kinda mysterious...but under the ladder and mirror stuff is not true. 🙂 Because Ive done it lol
 
some older european superstitions include:

never place your keys on the table because u will never have money in ur pocket
never take out the garbage when u are leaving somewhere
never re-enter the house once u have left....if u forgot something oh well
never hand money over a doorstep, always walk inside


they have been so deeply rooted into me its horrible....lol....i sometimes feel like i have ocd....
 
I'm not. I actually walk under ladders on purpose sometimes. And what's with the ''splitting the pole'' thing. I've had friends that would not move if I didnt go and walk back around the pole lol

The ouija..at first I thought it was BS but one time I was playing it at my bday party and we lit candles & I noticed one of the candle flames bending towards me so I asked one of my boys to switch spots with me. He said ok & when i got up & walked around to where he was at..the damn flame started following me. A girl that was there blew it out really quick & we stopped playing..that kinda made me wonder if it was true until about a yr later, I was playing with a girl I just met & I asked it my birthday cuz I knew she didnt know it & it spelled March 14, 1978. So now I really think the ouija works..other then that dont believe in nothing else.
 
OH OH and i've heard never hand a friend scissors or a knife because it will cut the friendship

Yeah my mom was really not happy about my kitty but she got over it lol. as for the numbers 13 and 666 i cannot stand those numbers they freak me out!! the ladder thing i dont really believe in and the mirror thing either but i will NOT mess with a ouija board. Although i have been known to say in the past that i would try it but i chicken out in the end!!
