I was 13 yrs old; when I went to sneak in the FUNHOUSE! Jellybean was spinning and played his remix of The Mexican (in my book; the first true freestyle record - it really had that latin sound) He then played Shannons give me tonight and later on; The original Dancing on the fire; You can find both of these (mexican/dancing on the fire) on the Jellybean wotupski album. These are three (including shannon) of the most incredible freestyle records to date. High quality production, sampling and editing (dancing on the fire) in these tracks.

DJ Legend; Btw; It's the Jimmy Castor Bunch! LOL it's like afro-street electro fusion to me. Awesome record; awesome. Kraftwerk (tour de france 12 inch import is my favorite kraftwerk track along with Transe Europe Express - I have the import somewhere where they sing it in German; They sing it like "trance eye - ropie express" - That ish is mad funny to listen to. Hell Computer World is Nostalgic; to me it's the greatest Electro album that has stood the test of time.

I was about 14 when AEIOU came out in 1982 (I think it was 82). Then Shannon came out with Let The Music Play and Give Me Tonight the next year (I think it was 83). Then it was Expose, Lisa Lisa, Phyllis Nelson, ect... The first Artist that I saw was Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam in 1986 at Great Adventure (here in Jersey). I also saw a great triple bill at the Memorial High School gym in WNY with Judy Torres, India, & TKA. I think that was in 1988

I was 8 when I heard "The Point of No Return" by Expose.
