JOCELYN ENRIQUEZ was a big dissappointment! She had no freestyle songs at all om her new album, and I figured that out when I bought it by mistake. -> BUT! if you do want to know what good albums to buy, have no fear as long as I'm here because there is a lot of stuff I know that will surprise you - SHARYN MACEREN is an album all freestyle fans should have! It is a good album and I ordered it immediatly when I heard it at PLANETHYPE.COM. What reminded of me of this album (that is recent - 2003) was when I just listened to NATALISE at TOWERRECORDS.COM, because I will get that album as soon as it comes out February 25, 2003! I also got Malyssa - if you are familiar with planet hype's beats and the R&B artist PINAY, then you should like MALYSSA, which has more up tempo freestyle-like breaks than PINAY's album does. MALYSSA also has a song that has the same beat - (not rhythm, only beat) as "I'll fly with you" by GIGI D' AGOSTINO. (this song contains same beat with similar sounds) FREESTYLE HEAVEN 4 presented by Canada's one and only Tony Monaco is an album for true freestyle fans that want brand new freestyle songs. I'll be back to give more updates on new music, and I wont be going anywhere for a while so don't worry! This is only the beginning... You may never have heard of most of the artists I'll talk about, but don't let that scare you. I'm here to help you discover the wonders of the unknown, and you will love it!

Why are we catergorizing these artists as solely freestyle? Can't you see that they are growing as individuals and they are experimenting with their careers. Just because they had huge freestyle hits back in the day doesn't make them a freestyle artist completely. Just look at India, we all thought she was freestyle and house. Wrong. She took that shit to a whole new level and did everything. Look where it got her. I don't expect Jocelyn and Angelina too keep doing freestyle for the rest of their careers. They are also taking into consideration the success surrounding dance/pop music today. It's a booming industry. They gotta keep up.

i agree

Jocelyn's new album is okay. I actually went to school with her and her brother out in the bay area. So i was kinda anticipating her new album, but was a little dissappointed. Malyssa's album isn't great but its more upbeat then Jocelyn's album.

good points but at the same time, one shouldnt forget where they started .. im sure no one expects JE's new album to contain all freestyle songs, but she shouldve had at least couple freestyle type songs on there .. alot of the songs on there are dance, which couldve been done over a freestyle beat instead .. her vocals are still good but defintly not something id buy ..

Naw Malyssa's was sorry, Sharyn's had tight beats but I cannot get into her voice at all...but Christina Maries is tight!!! As for Jocelyn...I thought it was tight!!! As well...I totally agree w/ Carlitos Way! The artists are following where the $$$ take them! Wouldnt you?? lol
