"Hey! "What's up!" "Borriqua Posse of Freestyle!" was just wondering if any knows about some places I could shop for classic and new Freestyle Dance Music?" My birthday is comming up on March 17 and I'm planning to take a trip to N.Y.C. to go shopping for new stuff downtown. I would like to know if anyone could also help me out with some tunes I've been searching for since the mid 80's and early 90's? Does any know who sings this jammin freestyle tune sung by a female that goes a little somethin' like: "Don't turn away from me, I'm hurting can't you see,
Sweet distant memories! When your running wild and free!" ---- I wish I could play you the version I taped years ago on the radio here in Rhode Island at the time because this was one of those tunes that just kicked ass! It kind of had that Sa'fire drum kick, like her hit "Let me be the one" its very similar. It also has a guitar solo that gives me chills when I blast it on my speakers! Especially the keyboard riffs! And when she sings: Na-na-na-Na! Na-na-na! on the chorus. Anyway theres also other hits that hailed from Miami that I've been serchin' for this I definately know the female freestyle artist or group but would any know where I can find a 12" copy, new or used of the Miami club hit "Stop playing with my heart" by two girls that go by the name of "2HOT2TROT" or "Two hot to Trot" and also the hit "When I'm in your arms" by "Fontain" formerly of the group "Company B" and "MKG featuring Divina" I'm also looking for an Import of Stevie B's Greatest Hits Vol. 2 on cd.
And does any know that Freestlye is breaking new ground in Germany and in other parts of Europe. Jonny O has released his new and old material there and he and Stevie B are big there right now! Any one cares to email me at ijc8@hotmail.com please do so. Later!
