What about it? Droom and Real Life are SynthPop artists popular in the goth/industrial scene... am I missing the freestyle?

Well, Project David, is David Hanono solo's project.

David Hanono was the lead singer of The Voice in Fashion that had world hits like "only in the night" and "give me your love". VIF was a project by Lewis A Martineé, which produced from Exposé to "Domino Dancing" by Pet Shop Boys, where David made the backing vocals.

Will Loconto was the leader of T-4-2 band that made songs like "Desire" and "Let me go", and after leave the band joined Information Society. So since everyone who love freestyle, love these two bands too, so it's a great tip. 🙂

Aside that, I love freestyle, and in many remixes have Freestyle influence, if you like my remix of "Will I Find True Love" by Noel, which is NOT freestyle in the original version, is trance, but like my remix aside is NOT pure freestyle either, will like all the tracks too.

more about the Noel's remix with the full MP3 for listen:

next week you will can preview the entire album, and you will understand what I trying to say, and judge by yourself if will worth to you buy it. 🙂

I think that almost freestyle fan, will LOVE this CD. 🙂

and I hope that you like too! 😛

cheers from Rio,
Freddy

Hey Hajas,

David Hanono was not the lead singer for "Voice in Fashion". the lead singer was his brother Sal Hanono. David played drums & percussion, Sal was the lead singer and Bass and Ony was the guitarist and keyboards.

They all sang backgroung vocals.

the guys of Voice in Fashion where great friends of mine and we (Erotic Exotic) travel and played in a lot of the same shows with them.
they are great musicians and I hope that they would get back together and do a few shows with us again.
As for David i wish him all the luck with David's Project.

Hello John, I always thought that Sal and David divided the vocals, am I wrong? I have until a video with David doing the lead vocals in "You Will Smile Again"...

about the file, has exceeded its allotted bandwidth. :/

seams that had a lot more downloads than I expected.

please wait the update of my site www.hajas.org

thanks,

Freddy

Anyway good luck with all your projects.

i always thought t.v.i.f.'s voice was one of the best male voices in dance.

john may i ask you a question from ignorance and most definately not insult. i have only seen the name erotic exotic on lists of freestyle records. ive never heard any songs. this past summer, while record digging i found the 12" of your eyes. recognizing the artist name instantly i sampled it, and while diappointed it was not a typical freestyle record, i really liked it. so i bought it. to me it was reminiscent of songs like camouflage the great commandment and what cause & effect were doing, and depeche mode too. all which i love.

(now i personally dont regard this record as freestyle. just my opinion, no offence intended) so my question is... as the artist, from your perspective and to people who do consider this track freestyle...what makes this song freestyle to you?

regards.

Hi beatsfromdapast,

"In Your Eyes" was never really a Freestyle song and the vinyl that you reffer to was one of the last 12" singles that we released on our own label. "In Your Eyes was actually the 1st songs that we would do in our shows when we first started. when we wrote this song we where infuenced by New Order and a group called B-Movie that had a hit called "Nowhere Girl". the actual song was different from the mix on the 12" vinyl.
When Erotic Exotic first started out, the term Freesyle wasn't being used. we were making dance music. Our connection in Freestyle starts with the original "Expose" when they where called "Expoxed". Erotic Exotic where the backing musicians for them, we also work with Stevie B & Warren Brooks in a band called "Friday Friday" that had a song called "Boy Toy" written by Stevie B. If you pick up some of our other 12" singles you'll see the Freestyle music influence. our first single was "Take Me As I Am"(Atlantic Records), followed by "L.O.V.E" (Atlantic Records), then "I Can Give You What You Need" (Sutra)
and the Lewis Martinee produced "If My Love Doesn't Suit Ya" (Sutra) these are all Freestyle Songs.
We where actually the 1st of the Miami Bands to get signed to a major label, followed closely by Nice & Wild, Voice In Fashion, Expose and Sequel.
