All my life I lived and been raised by my black mother. She never liked The washington Redskins, the reason was, when she was young The skins was an all white team, the old owner would not draft black players. The skins was forced to draft Bobby mitchell in 1961 because The JFK administration forced the Skins to intergrade or they would not be able to play at DC Stadium(now RFK Stadium). Now Bobby Michell who was asst. GM resigned because he has been shafted too long. His number was giving away but Sonny Jergerson and Joe Thiesmans number was not giving away. Which is why I do not cheer on The Deadskins. I still feel that The skins do not treat star black players with respect. great example, after The 1987 Super Bowl, Doug Williams was the MVP, but was never heard from again, he was pushed aside in favor of rookie; Mark Rypen. I'm not a person who always talk up the race issue but; that is a reason why I do not like The deadskins.

I like joking with you Leele. But it's outrage. mainly a team for a city which is 80% black and the NFL player make up is 70% black. That's why it's an outrage that their are only 3 black head coaches.
