I still love when they play old school on the radio. I can listen to the same old school song over and over!!!!!....and never get sick of it.

see FF153, that's what I mean about beating a dead horse..lol everyone has a different opinion, you can lisen to it all the time, but NYlilrican, can't .lol so we go round and round. Me? when I get tired of listening to the same thing, I take out my Goth CDs! talk about extreme transitions!..lololol or my Country music. I have other outlets of music that i like to lose myself in.

I AGREE WITH KENNY, THE OLD SCHOOL HAD HEART & SOUL BEHIND IT, THE RIGHT PRODUCERS,THE BEST OF IT ALL, BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT FACT, IS THE MUSIC WAS QUALITY..BOTTOM LINE, ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION THE OLD HOT 103/97 WOULD ADD ALMOST 5 NEW SONGS A WEEK,ALWAYS KEEPING THE DANCE/FREESTYLE SCENE FRESH..

EXACTLY! Nuff said :cool

I agree with Kenny and Ceesil, the old school artist had pashion in their music, sorry to say but some of the new stuff just suckes now in days, IMO thats why all the radio stations stick with the old school.

I agree with Nyasia (when I get to know you on a personal level, I'll refer to you as "Naya"). When I get tired of the same shit, I break out my R & B (Mariah Carey), my Motown collection (Teena Marie), my Club/ House (Reina), my Euro (Sadovaja), my Salsa (Los Jovenes Del Barrio), my Rock (Incubus), my Opera (Andrea Bocelli), and my Disco (France Joli). And you know what, it totally balances my musical tastes. At 26 years old, I've been exposed to all types of music. There's more out there than just Freestyle, Hip-Hop, and House.

I would have to say no because no matter what the quality is today, they are still not going to play freestyle. Alot of the radio stations are in it for the money, like B96. They are trendy stations and play whatever is in the market at that time. Awhile ago it was boy bands like N'Sync, now it is rap. They seem to play whatever the listeners want to hear, but that is b.s cause if you call the station and ask them to play a song, they will barely play it, even if it is at 3:00 in the morning, the non-peak times.
