Alone in the corner
She prays & she cries
Consumed by his darkness
She feels she should die
Nothing goes right for her
It all ends in pain
There is nothing to lose here
But so much to gain
She thought of a way
It could all be replaced
Arms bleeding wide open
She wont see his face
The stress wouldn't leave
He did not treat her right
Live in shame, or die with pain
Her life would end tonight
No one really cared about her
They would not understand
How could a girl who was such a young age
Become so afraid of a man
Blinded by what they refused to admit
Day to day living their life
Night after night she was forced on her knees
Now it all ends with this knife
For it was not fear that chose this conclusion
Yet everyone still will ask why
Perhaps if he had not created illusions
They would all know her reason to die
