okay i stole another mix tape from my cousin......im a mix-freestyle-tape-klepto.....and i found out some hot old school songs on it, and i know the title already...but these two i cant findthe title anywhere....they seem to be another 'lost freestyle' tracks....okay here are the lyrics...

song #1 (girl singer)

VERSE
baby, i been needing you and wanting you so bad,
i cant live without your love...its the BEST IVE EVER HEAD.
wont you please give love a try, cause you know down deep inside..

CHORUS
we can work it out baby,
i know that we can, we can work it out maybe..
so why dont you just give me one more chance....
to prove my love.
so please dont make me so crazy..
YOUR MAKIN ME CRAZY.

(((work it out, lets work it out, i want you as my man)))

song #2 - (I LOVE THIS ONE!!!...her voice is so sweet... )))

VERSE 1
you said love would last forever,
i thought that we'd always be together
i remeber the love we shared
feeling so real we both wouldnt care
you used to hold me real tight
but then you ran into the night...
you said that you couldnt stay
YOU BROKE MY HEART THAN RAN AWAY

BRIDGE
how could you without telling me why?
when i know that our love wont die
without you i dont know what ill do
dont you know my love is true

CHORUS
im so good, so good for you
im so good, so good for you
its so true, i f you want me knew
im so good, so good for you

and another little favor, can you please reccomend me some of the RARE unpopular freestyle tracks from 87-89....from miami and ny, and i mean really unpopular freestyle: like desiree-baby be mine, and sherry c am i the one.....not like all the same freestyle like jasmin on the loose and dreamboydreamgirl...thanks! anything old school you reccomend me is appriciated

Better not be from the 90s. LOL 🙂 thanks again.

Song #1 is "We Can Work It Out" by Arlene, who also sang "Why You Wanna Hurt Me" and "Tender Heart" as part of Leather and Lace. I don't know if that song is on any comps.

#2 is So Good For You by Sasha. It is on the comp "Classic Freestyle", which also has Sasha's other song, "Open Up My Heart To You".

Miami oldskool classics:

Teaz 2 Pleaz - I Want U
Olga - play another song for me
Secret Society - we belong together
Erotic Exotic - L.O.V.E.
Erotic Exotic - take me as I am
Trinere - can't stop the beat
Sequal - i'm over you

Expose' - exposed to love (long club version)
X-Posed (original Expose') - point of no return (original 1984 version)
Promise Circle - be mine tonight
Debbie Deb - I'm Searching
Genuine Parts - did it feel like love

Los Sucios released more than "this one track". They had a good 4 or 5 singles, including the awesome and hard-to-find track "LOVE IS BLIND". 😉

oh yeah i got that track its a slow song :biggrin

Um...NO IT'S NOT. There is no such thing as a slow slong that is 119 BPMs.

It's a hardcore, Old School Freestyle song. Period.

CF: Where has the knowledge gone? :lol

damn i must of confused it then. i just played it
it is a fast track

and what are u trying to get at with your silly little sarcasm

HOW ABOUT "NO MORE" BY LA GIRLS AND "END OF THE GAME" BY BETHANEY:bubbles

You originally IDed "LOVE IS BLIND" as a "slow song". I merely pointed out that it is not. You later rescinded your reply and corrected yourself HERE:

So it's all good.

As for this:

I can only guess that you are referring to this comment:

Which wasn't directed towards you, per se (you seem to have your act together). It was a general question - an observation, if you will. It seems that every post now-a-days is someone asking the "Who is your favorite Freestyle artist?" or "What is your favorite song?" or "Who is the King/Queen of Freestyle?"...blah blah blah.

Back in the day, CF was the place to be. It was the premiere on-line Freestyle community, after the demise of the Freestyle Nation (of course). You had a nice crew of people who knew their shit when it came to Freestyle and never had to resort to the meaningless drivel that plagues most threads now-a-days. 🙂

aight cool bro its all good

thanks for explaining yourself

i thought you were trying to get all hectic with me lol i got it all wrong.

Yes, unfortunatley, that is true. Sasha was killed in a car accident. This was discussed before on cf.

Here is a post on the subject, posted over a year ago.

Wow, I have posted this in response to other topics in this forum but i finally found a spot where it probably belongs the most.....

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Rich and I managed Sasha, she was also my sister.

Yes its true she had an auto accident several years ago and is no longer with us. She was liked by just about everyone she met. Great personality and extremly attractive.

We recorded at first with Musicworks or Hot records (same thing) here in miami, then we opened our own label and released a few other singles

i am sure if she were still with us she would be glad that people like you remember her for who she really was, and help keep her music alive

on behalf of my sister and I....thank you all

Rich
