Hey guys...

I´m new here, but an old lover of Freestyle beats!

Since 1988 I´m looking for a song (yeah, it´s a long time, I know...) that I have in an old tape (that is lost in the past). The song was just a compilation, you guys must remember that some records used have a publicity track in the end of the record, announcing other artists and their songs.

Here´s my personal hell: I can´t remember the name of the artist or the song, I just keep a small and (till now) an useless piece of the song in my mind that says:

"stay with me, please don´t go, please stay with me ´cause I ..."

I know that´s an impossible mission, but someone of you have a song that matches this poor description?

The music´s name is "Stay with me" and the artist is "Cherré".

Well...

After 14 years I can enjoy the sweet voice and the great beats of this entire song!

It's something how you were looking for a song for sooo many years and you join the websight and get the info you need and get to speak to and recieve an autograph from the artist's!! That is awesome!! It must have been fate!! Fernanda that is really cool of you to do that!!! I remember that song too!! It is on a tape that a dj friend made for me! I never knew who sang it. After all these years looking for this song and looking for other people who share the same musical taste like mine, I foud a place to go!

It´s amazing the number of freestyle fans all around the world! I don´t know in other countries, but here in Brazil, in the 80´s and early 90´s, freestyle (called here miami) made a HUGE success!!!

I´m really proud to participate of this BB and talk to my idol! 😀 (Luv ya Fernanda!)

Well, I think is it! Just to expose my emotions and thoughts about this wonderfull site and the sweetest voice in Freestyle: Chereé (Fernanda).

Can't ssem to find the song on Kazaa. Any suggestions on were I can down load or get the 12 inch version? BTW, very cool that you replied to a fan. I remember playing htis song when I was DJ ing clubs and parties.

Better late than never! Thanks so much for those kind words. I never knew who my fans were and now I'm trying to show them that I do appreciate all of there support by acknowledging them and returning the love. Aleagi, what can I say? Your too much, LOL. I'm so glad that I made you soo happy, and made a dream come true. But really, I'm just a regular person. Nothing special about me, just that I sing, that's all. But eitherway, it's a blessing having so many wonderful people supporting my music and as my fans. I will never forget you guys for as long as I live. God Bless you all.
