Hey everyone,
I need some help with a few songs & albums. Everyone thinks that BRENDA K. STARR's 1st album is her 1987 self-titled that contains "I Still Beleive".....but it's not.

Her 1st album was: "I Want Your Love", on Mirage Records 1985. It contains "Pickin' Up Pieces" & "Suspicion".

I personally know Brenda, & not even she knows how to get me a copy. Now That's sad! LOL! She keeps telling me, "try the small used record shops", ...I've been doing that for a few years now, & the only place I found it once, was on eBay. The price went sky high & the seller was from France. It is VERY rare to find. If any of u have it, or know where to find one, PLZZZ LET ME KNOW! : )

Do u guys remember in 1985 Jim Carrey's 1st movie "Once Bitten"?? About the vampire's??
Well, I REALLY want that soundtrack, cuz it contains that "Funk-Freestyle" jam "Hands Off" by MARIA VIDAL. It's the song they dance to
in the costume party scene. LOL!
The lyrics almost remind me of SAFIRE's "Love Is On Her Mind". It's a tight jam. & I WANT IT! If u have any clues....let me know!
Remember this song:
"Cross my heart...hope to die, ...may lightning strike me if i'm tellin' a lie"
...????
It was by 8th WONDER. I have a sample of it on a Freestyle mix CD, but I want the whole song. HELP ME!!!

Another "rareity" I needed was : "I'm Searching" by DEBBIE DEB. But I found it on Amazon.com. I HAD to have it! It reminds me of when I was little watching my cousins breakdance in the Bronx! LOL!

Aaahhh...good memories! : )

Well, if any of you can help me with my "mission",....please w/b!!

Thanx!!

hi, well...the "cross my heart" jam, Martika sang that song as well...maybe she remade it..but Martika also sings "toy soldier"...i havent heard the 8th wonder version

I Have 8th wonder's Record " Cross My Heart "

Hey Company B. You're going to owe me a favor. j/k lol. I found a place that's selling that Brenda K Starr album. They only have one copy so I don't want anyone else buying it so I didn't post the information here. I sent you a private message here on ClubFreestyle with the information. To get to your private messages, click on the link in the upper right of the screen that says "YOUR CF". You'll see my private message there with where you can get it.

Company B, I know that you tried to send me a private message but my private message box was full. I cleared out some messages so give it another shot. Thanks.

i know where you can find all those records. i went to a small university in pennsylvania. Like most of universities, probably across the country, my college had a small community service college radio station with a record librabry you wouldn't believe. These radio stations recieved over the years tons of early freestyle, soundtracks, and lots of rare stuff as promotional use only, of course. No one even touches these records any more. Good luck.
