Have title, need artist

OK. I haven't heard this jam in years. Woman singing, mid 80's, sounds kinda' like Debbie Deb from what I remember. All I can remember is about 2 lines from the chorus:

"'cause i'm searchin', s-s-s-s-s-s-s searchin'"

Think the title is "Searchin'", anyone know the artist?

Ok, that song was on Jam Packed records, and the song was credited to "Debbie Deb", but it was not the same woman who sang the songs "Lookout Weekend" and "When I Hear Music", it was someone using the same name.
