i missed out on the mixes this weekend.looking for freestyle, has anyone heard any freestyle on B96 at all lately? or is it all still mainly just rap and r&b??🙄
has anyone been listening for freestyle on B96?

I haven't listened to the B96 in a while... It seems that all they play now-a-days is R&B and Rap. I also miss listening to freestyle mixes. I listen to old tape recordings from Tim Schomer, Frankie Rodriquez, etc... If you listen to house, check out 88.1, 88.7 or 90.5 on the FM dial. The frequency is not that great, but they sometimes play classic house jams.... also try on-line freestyle radio at live365.com

nah, i just wanna hear freestyle. even if its music i like like Trance and Club, I still wont listen to them(B96).I mainly listen to Q101, and the rock stations now, I would listen to Energy but it dosent come in.If B96 wont play freestyle, I REFUSE to listen to them AT ALL!!! I HATE B96!

Maybe you could try tuning in to my Freestyle music and interview program. It's called "Wake Up Dancing" and it airs from 6am to 9am Central on Chicago's WLUW (88.7 FM). I play mixes from Tony "Boom Boom" Badea, DJ Paradise and others from 6am to 6:30am, requests, etc. throughout the show, and a weekly interview segment at 8am.
Our webcast is currently down, but you can still hear the show over conventional radio. Give it a shot and me a ring at 1.773.508.9589 while you're at it. Run a search under my name here at "CF", and you'll be able to catch up...

thats awesome, but i dont get 88.7 in (like Energy) in my area. that sukx! all im stuck with is mainly urban shit!

you know if you listen to the street mix every friday and saturday night babe you can catch tim spinnin schommer doing his mixes on the weekends. i usually listen to him on b96 and dj markski. i just wish it was back in the day like they you guys said when they played freestyle back then. but tim spinnin is the only one guy that does his freestyle on b96. but i haven't heard of tim for like forever. i use to work at b96 i was gonna be the mix master there but i had to move here to tampa because of my familia that i missed. but i ll be back real soon to work there again. and hopefully to be the mix master and yes i ll play some freestyle. listen mija if you wanna check out my show online i ll let you know when im on. plus i also do the mix show every friday and saturday night from 10pm till 5 in the morning so you can check me out from there i play latin house and freestyle. and i ll include the djs for you.

cool. ya but most the time i turn on B96 on weekends i just hear rap mixes.

true i don't even like to listen to b96 anymore i like it how they use to be back then it was better when they played alot of old school dance and freestyle i missed it back then. i actually miss my home where im from chi town baby!

i know! there playlist used to be like.....Tag Team-Whoomp there it is, Laissez Faire-In Paradise, Jade-Dont Walk Away, Paperboy-Diddi, Cynthia-Chcange On Me, NawtybyNature-Hip Hophorray....man, even the rap music back then was better than it is now. man, i miss those days.🙁

thats why you should come up to florida we play alot of freestyle or new york. or you can go to www.ktu.com because they play freestyle on some certian days and on sundays its 4 hours of freestyle with judy toress my home girl lol.
