I know I go by the name of silentmorning because this is my favorite song and much love and respect to Noel but my favorite freestyle diva will always be Lisette Melendez.As a fan I go waaaayyyyy back.I first met her when she was in this freestyle group called Only In The Dark,she sang this song called "Make Noise".To alot of the new school this group she was in or song she sang may not be familiar.You should pick it up oneday its a classic.Last I knew a greatest hit album came out on Jan 2001 and that was it.She did a few KTU events but I never got a chance to g😵h yeah,I still have that record......🙂
 
She still performs at clubs and big shows. she is good friends with CNYTHIA & SA-FIRE and you can usually catch all 3 hanging out from time to time.
 
Lisette is off the hook! no one will ever forget the woman who saved freestyle (with the help of the after dark crew)! i hope she drops another album real soon!

ps - "Make Noise" was hot! i definitely think that record probably inspired Lisa Lisa's, C+C produced cut, "Let The Beat Hit 'Em".

wouldn't Lisette, Cynthia, & Safire make a bombazz girl group! can u imagine the album cover?😱

That would be a priceless album.
All three are genuine freestyle divas.
I would defenitely get an albun if they were to do one.
