I'll try to be brief. I have to pull the "overdrafts" everyday. It's a list of our clients who let their accounts get overdrawn. the system shuts down by 10, so you need to do this early. I did my office by 8:30, then got a phone call by 9, saying that the A.A for that other office was out, and can I please pull their overdrats and fax it to them, so they can make their decisions.

I faxed them at 9:15 by 9:45, I hadn't received any replies to imput into the system. So I sent this email......

Hello Mike.

I got your decisions. Thank you. Can you please follow up with Phil and Chris, and remind them they have about 15 mintues to fax me their decisions?

Thank you.

I got this reply back from Mike....which he copied to his boss.....

Chuck, 15 minutes is typically not enough time to decision od's. They need to be faxed over sooner, ideally by 8:30am. If I see Chris and Phil I will mention it to them, but also feel free to call them directly for their decisions. Also, when you pull the od's it helps to have the print out of the prior days activity to get a handle on whats going on with the account.

Thanks,
Mike

I don't work in that office, why should I chase these guys down for their decisons. they all know this stuff has to be entered by 10. Top it off, he copies his boss about it. So I replied to this, and copied his boss, as well as mine.

I am aware that overdrafts need to be done early. Fairfield's overdrafts are ALWAYS printed by 8:30

I was told that Metro Park needed me to do their overdrafts at 9am, so I can't fax them to you at 8:30, if I am informed of a situation at 9.

I faxed the overdrafts at 9:15, which gives the lenders 45 minutes to make decisions and return them to me, not the 15 minutes you say you had.

As for the prior days activity, I do the overdrafts as I was trained to. I pull the pages that I faxed to you. The lenders in Fairfield do not ask for the prior days activity when making their decisions.

If that is something that Elta does extra for you, that would be something I need to know in advance, not 10 minutes before the decisions are due.

P.S. Phil replied after 10, so now I have to take the extra steps to call the overdraft dept and ask them to go into the system and make the changes he wants.

All I can say is GOOD FOR YOU CHUCK!!!!!!!! :yeey You tell em! 😉
