...a complete stranger just came up to me and gifted me with a blanket-a Winnie the Pooh at that!

Louie, I hope that all is well with you and your family. You've got it right when you ask that we appreciate our families just a little bit more. A 34 year old former Club member just lost her husband in an auto accident. He left behind a six year old and a four year old. She wasn't the "bread winner", but now she is the man, woman and everything else in between. I've seen her a couple of times since the accident, but I can't think of a way to approach her and tell her just how much I feel for her and the kids. I'm just saying "hello"-which really isn't enough, but no one wants to do any toe-stepping in such a tragic, yet festive time.

Appreciate what you have now. It may not be all that you wish for, but it a lot more than some others have, and what others who don't have our type of freedom would risk their lives for.
