Today will make you one day older,
But to me mom you'll stay forever young,
I hope you have a wonderful Birthday,
And many more to come.
I hope that you know no matter what,
You are the sister I never had,
You are the best friend I know I could always count on,
And I dont ever want to see you angry or sad.
To see you that way,
Only makes me hurting inside,
Just know that Ill always be there for you,
You dont ever have to keep it in and hide.
When I think about the things you say and do,
I know I can always sit back and laugh,
Because you are too much sometimes,
But of course its those moments you'll always have.
It's great to see a smile on your face,
And its great to know that I have you as my mom,
When I get older and get married,
If you have a problem dont worry and stay calm.
No one could ever stop me for being there for you,
Because you have always been there for me,
And once again Im wishing you a Happy Birthday,
And know that your the best mom and friend you could ever be.

Awwwwwwww I like this one Lil ma!

Course I like them all but this one is truly special 🙂

Tell your Mom "Happy Birthday" for me!

Thank you sweety..My god..did you know she cried and cried when she read it??...LOLOLOL!!

Awwww..thank you God and sexy mamma..she truly is the best..:hearton

Girl dont make me cry..Its too early..🙁..LOL! Thank you sweety, but why do u say you and your mom arent?...why do u think its like that?

I say that because it's true. My mom and I just aren't close. And it seems no matter what I do, it's not good enough. I mean I work 2 jobs, go to school full time, pull straight A's, have made Dean's List every semester, am in the honors program and just transfered to NYU on full scholarship, and she just makes me feel as though I haven't done squat. It's aggrevating and frustrating. But thing is, it's always been this way with my mom. We were just never close. I think it has to do with the fact that her mom was never really supportive of her and they didn't have a close relationship.

Thats how it usually is...But at least you didnt let things get to you and kept doing what your doing ma. I know someone who has done the total opposite. Her mom cant stand her..always calling her a dumb bitch and has no life..so...she doesnt go to school nemore and she had a baby...Thats what happens when your mom doesnt give you the attention you need..it happens when no one does so they find it where else. As long as your proud of what u do and that you dont let her bring you down..its all good mamita...:hearton

At first, that's kind of how I felt. But then I started using her negativity as a motivating source, to go and do what she didn't think I could do, and then not only doing it, but succeeding better than I could have dreamed. If someone had told me a yr ago, I'd be going to NYU, I would have said yeah right. When my mom heard I wanted to apply she was telling me I probably wouldn't get in. But I proved her wrong...same thing when I went for my paramedic training...she thought I wouldn't get through the course, and bam, I go and finish in the top of my class. So I still try to work on the relationship with her, and some days I feel I'm making progress and then out of nowhere, it's as though all the progress never occured. It gets frustrating though...I'm going to be 22 next month, and I swear at times I feel she treats me like a 12 yr old instead of an adult. But anyway..I'm rambling...I guess I just needed to vent.

But yeah I am happy in what I have accomplished and what I have yet to accomplish. It's weird though, cause I know usually most girls have a close relationship with their mom's and me, I'm the opposite...I am very close with my dad.

Meggie...You doing that, trying to prove to your mom, is only helpin u out and makes u feel better. You know what I think? I think she really does care and really loves what your doing..but she just wont give u the benefit of the doubt. Thats just how she is..and its ok to have your dad to be close to. Im not really close to my dad..but I love him and zi noticed us getting closer every year...you ma..dont have to prove nothing..just be who u r and who u want to be..🙂
